Refer for Inspiration

Hey, it's me again!

I have basically completed the details for my environment. I was stuck at what to add for the fishball house and mushroom tower before, but after finding some references of a dome house and a tower, I had more ideas of what kind of buildings they would be.

By making the fishball a dome house, I could add porch lights for my night lighting later on. At the same time, I could add a hanging top light in the ice cream store (the bread structure).

I used to avoid finding references as much as possible as I felt that I would end up copying the styles that already exist, and would make my creation stand out lesser. But it actually helps, when you combine the different ideas and adjust it to the style you were aiming for.

Lesson learnt: Don't be afraid to find references!
